The Business Studies Department operates in the 14 to 19 sector of the school. Currently the courses taught are:
AS and A2 Business Studies - AQA specification
A2 Applied Business Studies - AQA specification
Business Studies - Edexcel specification
Business Studies & Communication Systems - Edexcel specification
The aim of the Department is to provide high quality, relevant Business Education to all students who elect to follow this subject within the 14-19 sector of the school.
There are 2 members of staff. Both are experienced teachers and had relevant business and industrial experience before entering teaching. Both members of staff teach the full range of subject within Business Studies although they each have their own specialisms. All courses are taught jointly.
